When snakes drink milk, it only increases their venom. Similarly, good instructions offered to fools make them angry, and do not give them peace of mind.
One should always try to benefit others. Any intelligent and thoughtful person can be benefited by a good advice. Since good advice only agitates the fool, one should not waste valuable time advising him. Jesus Christ also said “Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”* Instead one should try to benefit those who are more receptive. Milk is an excellent food, but when given to a snake it only increases the snake’s poison. A serpent, by nature, is envious of other living entities, even if they are faultless. When a serpent bites another creature, it is not necessarily because the other creature is at fault; it is the habit of the serpent to bite innocent creatures.
